		<description>@jenny: i think you simply select the Full screen mode with menu bar (short key F) then click 1 point outside the page, then end up the selection, the border side will unseclected :D

If you want to draw borders for panel that goes out to the page edges, you must first extend your original scan by cropping it.
After you finish drawing your borders, just crop off the extra bits.
