I've been meaning to make a tutorial for making actions, but I just haven't had time lately. It's pretty simple to do yourself: click on the new action button and then do all the things that you want to record, then hit the stop button. It's a bit like a video camera ;)

Well, Jump mag scans are arguably impossible to scan well due to their inherent poor quality. I've thought about doing a gutter tutorial, but I'm of the opinion that spending hours on redrawing the gutter just isn't worth it unless there is something absolutely vital to the page being lost. Most distortion in bad raws (gutter, corners, etc) would be redrawn with the Pen Tool or Cloned, both of which are introduced on this site.

As for bad scan lines that run vertically down the page, there's really not a lot you can do since often those pixels are lost for good. Do you have any examples of bad raws that you need help with?
